The most wonderful natural places in Huelva
If there is something special about the environment that surrounds On Hotels, it is the wonderful natural landscape of Doñana, but we can also visit other corners.
The 7 most wonderful natural corners of Huelva that you can visit in the province are the following.
Grotto of Wonders
In the Huelva town of Aracena we find this grotto, a phreatic cavity that has been formed over hundreds of years on the rocks of Cerro del Castillo. The extension of this cave is 2,130 meters, although only half can be visited.
In the cave there are karst formations and a large number of lakes. This grotto was discovered in the 19th century and was the first tourist cave in Spain.
Río Tinto mining park
In this mining park we see wonderful landscapes, almost lunar. This type of landscape is the result of the morphology and mining tradition that intensified with the arrival of the English, supported by the construction of the railway from Rio Tinto to Huelva.
It is important to know that the mining activity was directed by the British, who brought football to Spain. Today, you can see not only the landscape, but also the passage of time. You can ride the railway along 12 km of tracks.
El Rocío
This is another of the fantastic places in Huelva, very popular among foreigners and locals thanks to the pilgrimage that is celebrated every year. It is filled with color and party and music.
Odiel natural marshes
Another corner is this. It is true that it may be overshadowed by Doñana, but it deserves similar consideration, since it is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
It is one of the largest wetlands in the province.
From On Hotels you can reach any of these corners in a very simple way, and, when you arrive from enjoying them, you can enjoy the tranquility in your room or relax in the pool.
